We can do flight testing of your gyro.
Contact us for more information
We have tested :
Titanium Autogyro, Butterfly Gyro, Arrow Copter , Sparrow Hawk, RAF 2000 , MTO Sport, Calidus, Cavilon
and several others.
This is Garys Calidus just tested and complete May 1 2013
We have tested over 20 gyros in the last two years. I have two more to be tested in the spring of 2015
We completed testing of the first Titanium Explorer in the USA. The video link is below.
Testing of new hub, Bar, Blades, and head!
These are the new carbon blade specs. Cord 220 mm 27.5 feet long weight 28KG or 61 lbs. This does not include the hub bar.The hub bar is 5 lbs. The flight stability and strength is far superior.
These are Carbon fibre blade test results from Tag:
Some additional test done yesterday on blades ,
The required flexion test was done with a safety factor of 3.25 needing a load of 40.5 KG .
We then kept loading the blade to see what would happen and they took it up to over 660 Kg and still couldn’t break the blade
They then did a shear load test on the root end of the blade and exceeded 2055 KG and couldn’t break the blade , this would normally be negligible in flight because everything is relying on centrifugal force not shear , but just goes to show the strength of the blade .
If you had a aluminium blade you could not reach anywhere near these test figures .
